The five messages

WDB is a Government of Ghana initiative for women entrepreneurs and traders.
It plans to offer loans, savings, other financial services and training, at low cost.
Women may be able to borrow without traditional collateral, using alternative credit checks.
Services are planned to come to women: WDB branches, WDB agents, mobile phones and trusted partner locations.
WDB expects to open in 2027 and aims to reach all 16 regions of Ghana.
